Ogden Point Breakwater

I like the city and its special events when crowds gather and enjoy together but there are also times when I get a little claustrophobic. That's when I enjoy this breakwater, only a few minutes from downtown Victoria, yet it offers space and peace and room to let oneself expand. Does your city have places like this?

Yes, where I live we have parts near the lake where you can stroll along undisturbed. Good for the mind and the soul. Nice photo, by the way!

Nice perspective here! I have Ijams nature preserve - trails along the river, in the woods on the ridges, and around a quarry - great for bird watching and contemplation.

We do have places just like that...but I don't tell anyone where they are!

Very nice Benjamin! I loved the dock of the bay photo too. Hope to spend more time exploring Victoria soon...

This is a lovely image for what you say - it draws me in and away from the hustle and bustle. I have only just discovered your blog and hope to journey further into it over the weekend.

How good you have this place. Just such a breakwater or pier into Lake Michigan saved my soul when I was growing up in big city Chicago.
